But before considering pro and con on school uniforms let’s turn to its history and learn world school uniform models.

Japanese secondary school boys wear the uniform, the model of which comes from the Prussian soldiers’ uniform of the XIX century. It consists of trousers and dark coat, decorated with stand-up collar and buttons.

The country of school uniform is Britain in Europe. Generations of parents stately got their children in shirts and ties, blazers and strange hats to schools.

2. The second advantage of school uniform is its discipline influence. It includes not only wearing business and classic costumes without any provocative low-necked dresses and so on but not wasting time on becoming beautiful in the morning.
3. And the most important school uniform pro is that as all corporative clothes promotes team unity.
But school uniform cons are not less considerable.
1. The first is individuality suppression. The impossibility to express themselves by clothes can become a real stress for children. It can prevent harmonic personality development.
2. Another disadvantage touches parents directly. Supplementary expenditures on clothes, which a child can’t wear anywhere else except school is difficult for many families.
Common uniform cut can’t be accepted by everyone. And it is a real serious stress for a child to wear clothes he doesn’t like.
That’s why knowing the entire pro and con on school uniform it’s quiet difficult to assign whether it’s necessary or not. Every school should have its own method to that topic. May be it’s better to make clothes limits and allow children to their favorite trousers.
