It can really become determining to host an exchange student. Moreover the hosts get a good experience, new communication and friend and can even try themselves in the role of parents. But how to host an exchange student and what is it?

The hosts shouldn’t worry about the unknown foreigner coming to their house. The students pass exams to win the program. Every host should provide his student with a separate bed, a place for studies, food, transport, care and communication, a kind of upbringing according the rules of his family or country. They should be open-minded, have a wish to travel, responsive, curious and they should make a good psychological atmosphere for a student. It doesn’t matter if the potential hosts live in villages, on farms, towns or cities.

Note! Hosting families don’t get any material compensation from the student exchange program. But they receive some benefits. They learn about new culture and may be they get a new friend abroad.

Their expenses are only food and transport for a student. Moreover every family gets $50 of tax deduction per month to pay off the necessary expenses for a student.

Every student is informed to pay for his everyday lunch at school and entertainment. Moreover his is paid monthly allowance by his association for clothing, sport and social activities, school expenses and so on.

If hosts have some problems with their student they get an everyday support from a program. The family also can choose their future student according to similar interests and photos, have advocate service and get a consultant that helps to solve all the documents problems and answer all the questions.
